Certifications: Fabrico holds the following quality certifications:

  • ISO 9001:2008 third party certified by NQA-USA
  • AS9100 Appendix B third party certified by NQA-USA
  • ITAR compliant systems

Additionally, Fabrico has completed work under the 10 CFR 50 quality assurance criteria for nuclear power plants and fuel reprocessing plants.

General Production Quality Services: While every operator at Fabrico is required to "own their own quality," we take it a step farther by using a dedicated inspection team to inspect and record measurements of in-process parts. Distributed throughout the plant are several surface plates and measuring devices that allow inspectors to catch any small issues before they can become big ones. This system significantly reduces the risk of "escapes" and also helps to reduce the incidence of scrapped parts, thus keeping costs down.


FPQ/PPAP Services: When introducing a new product, changing a legacy part, or switching suppliers, the "up front" work is often viewed as the most painful. And for good reason - often contract manufacturers focus too much on winning production business without taking the time to work through a detailed First Piece Qualification (FPQ) or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). At Fabrico, we know that a proper FPQ/PPAP process is not only good for our customer, but is also good for us. As we introduce a new part to our production floor, the FPQ/PPAP paradigms drive discipline that ensures risks, critical dimensions, measuring methods, and a myriad of other factors are identified and addressed well in advance. Our use of these systems is second nature to us; our quality team has decades of combined experience in industries that pioneered the use of the FPQ and PPAP methods, particularly automotive and aerospace. And to meet your quality documentation needs, we stand ready to provide all the necessary FPQ/PPAP documentation for your review, from manufacturing method instructions to lab reports to CAV data and everything in between.


Material certification and traceability: At Fabrico, our history with high performance alloys and our experience with some of the world's most successful OEMs have led us to put in place a rigorous material certification and traceability system. Through the use of our ERP system and our job travelers, we are able to trace material heat numbers to particular job lots, ensuring that if any questions were to arise about the history of a given material and where it was used in our manufacturing process, we have answers at our fingertips.
