General Production: As a specialized contract manufacturer that makes thousands of unique part numbers in a given year, Fabrico understands well the complexities of managing a world-class manufacturing operation. Beginning with the development of a job traveler that details the steps by which a part will be made, our engineering and manufacturing process employs an integrated ERP/MRP system. During production, a barcode on the traveler is scanned at each operation, ensuring that we have visibility into the progress of a given order. The latest technology is also employed in the area of machine programming. Virtually all programming is done from a central location and then wirelessly transferred to equipment on the manufacturing floor, helping to maintain configuration control and ensure consistent quality. Additionally, dedicated quality inspectors check parts numerous times at each operation to ensure that specifications are being met, documenting results. Finally, as parts arrive at finished goods, they are marked and packaged to your specifications and shipped by your requested method.

Rapid prototyping: After many years of demonstrating our ability to manufacture quality parts in a standard production environment, customers began to ask us to assist with their new product development and part re-design programs. As demand for such services grew, we developed a stand-alone prototyping department, dedicating personnel and equipment to the unique needs of customers looking for "one-off" parts. The use of a dedicated prototyping group gives you the ability to extend your R&D and new product introduction teams to a "virtual workshop" that is focused on the unique needs of engineering teams working with even tighter deadlines and within different quality systems.

Production Part Approval Process: FPQ. PPAP. FAI. It doesn't matter what you call it; at Fabrico we have the people and processes at your disposal to develop and deliver first article parts for qualification purposes. Depending on the work required to create the part and the attendant documentation, the manufacturing efforts in this area may utilize our dedicated prototyping and R&D shop, allowing us to "fast track" your qualification and get a part to production more quickly.
